Paint Correction
Paint correction is a process used in the automotive detailing industry to restore and enhance the appearance of a vehicle’s paintwork. It involves the systematic removal of imperfections such as swirl marks, scratches, water spots, and other surface defects that dull the finish.
Paint correction requires skill, precision, and the use of appropriate techniques and products to achieve the desired results without causing damage to the paint or gel coat. The goal is to restore clarity, depth, and gloss to the surface, making it look as close to factory-fresh as possible.
Paint Correction
Polish / Enhancement
- Paint, glass, emblems, plastics/rubbers are properly cleaned, decontaminated (Chemically and Clay-Bar treatment to remove embedded grit, iron particles, etc), and hand/blown dry
- Tires, wheels, and wheel arches deep cleaned, tires are dressed to a satin finish with a water based dressing
- Exterior glass is cleaned and protected with Rain-X
- Paint receives a single-stage polish to deep clean the paint, increase gloss, and reduce swirls
- Paintwork is then protected with a Premium Ceramic Sealant lasting up to 6-8 months
- Black textured plastics are treated with a restoring protectant
- Painted/clear coated wheel faces are protected with a high temperature sealant
