I’m Dave, the proud owner of Top Shelf Detailing. My journey to becoming your go-to expert for boat and auto detailing has been anything but ordinary. My wife and I moved to the Hampstead area summer of 2024, with our dog, Dutchess, after living in Wake County for over 10+ years. With a rich background spanning 15 years in working professional hockey, I’ve taken the discipline, precision, and team spirit from the rink to the detailing industry.
During my time in professional hockey, I learned the importance of hard work, attention to detail, and maintaining high standards—qualities that are just as essential in the detailing business. Transitioning from the fast-paced world of sports to running a premier detailing company, I’ve brought with me dedication and a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every vehicle and boat we service is treated with the utmost care and expertise.
After stepping away from the rink, I sought a new challenge where I could apply my skills and passion for excellence in a completely different arena.
